Proud Camden presents Six Shooters, an exclusive photographic portrait of the contemporary music scene by a collaboration of the UK’s six leading music photographers: Roger Sargent, Mick Hutson, Andy Fallon, Paul Harries, Andy Willsher and Andy Cotterill.

The largest scale exhibition in Proud’s history, Six Shooters will be spread over two huge gallery spaces. A far cry from your run of the mill group show, this exhibition represents the culmination of many years of photography and friendship. 1999 saw six of the UK's best music photographers head to Reading Festival, each separately undertaking assignments to document the festival’s performers. Three days later, after much equipment sharing and lens cap finding, the group departed having forged what was to be lasting friendships. Today this group of photographers is the most sought after in the business, having between them shot every notable band and musician you can think of, toured with the very best and been published in almost every major publication both nationally and across the world. Individually they each represent one sixth of a group of the most internationally recognised, leading figures in the photographic industry.

Broadway comes to Chichester with this classic American musical. Tony Award Winner for Best New Musical when it premiered, 42nd Street combines high octane choreography and one show-stopping number after another with irresistible razzamatazz.

A celebration of the stuff that dreams are made of, 42nd Street is the timeless, inspiring story of smalltown girl Peggy Sawyer’s meteoric rise from the anonymity of the chorus line to the spotlight of the Broadway star.

Deliciously uplifting and joyful, 42nd Street also has the edginess of New York City itself – sexy, glamorous, seductive.

Toe-tap and foot-stomp to Lullaby Of Broadway, We’re In The Money, Keep Young And Beautiful, I Only Have Eyes For You and, of course, the spectacular title number, 42nd Street.

Proud Chelsea presents The Beat Hotel by Harold Chapman. A UK first, this exclusive exhibition depicts life at 9 Rue Gît-le-Coeur through rare and unseen photographs. Aptly nick-named the Beat Hotel, this run-down, 42 room residence in Paris’ Latin Quarter is famed for housing some of the most important writers, poets and artists of the Beat Generation during the mid-20th century.

One such guest was the much celebrated photographer Harold Chapman. Described as “one of the best photographers of his generation”, Chapman meticulously chronicled the life and times of his fellow residents, among them William S. Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Harold Norse, Gregory Corso and Sinclair Beiles.
