The website is a resource to support all the events and has a calendar to publicise them. There is also the LGBT History month bulletin which keeps you up to date with LGBT matters across the country through out the year. The website itself has both loads of information and ideas and offers links to innumerable other sites that cover LGBT issues, history and events.

Where previous Loudest Whispers exhibitions have been extensive group shows for over 30 artists, this year the alternative exhibition is more intimate, concentrating on 11 artists largely drawn from the creative art world of Camden and Islington. Established artists include Warwick Stanley, Caroline Halliday, Steve Edwards and Simon Croft. Other artists - Andrew Orford, Daryl White, Pascal Ancel Bartholdi, Martin King, Carolyn Williams and Titus Davies - are all new to the LGBT art world of Loudest Whispers (partnership between Camden LGBT Forum, the Arts Project Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust). The exhibition features photo montage, watercolours, installation, contemporary photography, painting and jewellery. Part of Camden & Islington LGBT History Month 2012.

Admission:

1. Members - The Velvet-Club (Events) membership card is £10, valid for 6 months. The Event membership card benefits include: Complimentary entrance for the Member and 1 guest to:

(i) Velvet-Club Drinks Parties held on the first Friday of the Month (7pm-11.30pm) except January. Admit 2. A complimentary glass of wine on arrival (7-8pm)

(ii) Shadow Lounge on the first Friday of the Month (10pm-3am). Admit 2 between 10pm-12.30am. Shadow Lounge, 5 Brewer Street, Soho, London W1F 0RF Tel: 020 7317 9270 .

That's less than £1 per person per event!. Members are required to produce their valid membership card on arrival at Velvet-Club and Shadow Lounge.

2. Non Members - For non members and additional guests, as from September 2nd, there will be an entrance fee of £5 per person to attend the monthly Velvet-Club event, which will also include a complimentary glass of wine between 7-8pm.

Velvet-Club (Events) Membership cards are available by telephoning Catherine on 07913 644 710 who can then process your payment by credit/debit card or at the Velvet Events. Once your payment is processed, you can then collect your membership card on the night, or if you prefer it can be posted to you.
