Our November DRINKS PARTY will be held in the cocktail bar, lounge and restaurant areas of the Institute of Directors.
The Cocktail Bar with its soft leather furnishings and stylish surroundings is the perfect place to enjoy a superb range of cocktails, specially selected spirits, beers and wines by the glass.
The superb selection of champagne and classic cocktails, such as Watermelon Martinis and Blueberry Amaretto Sours are from £6.25, the wines from £3.80 per glass and spirits and beers from £3.30. The Head Cocktail Barman can also create bespoke cocktails to suit your tastes.
During the evening a background of live piano music, played upon a Bechstein, concert-quality grand piano.
The columned terrace overlooking leafy, private gardens is the perfect spot in which to enjoy a drink or two or alfresco dining.
On the evening a Tapas menu will be available in the Restaurant and a full dining menu will be available in the Brasserie – 2 courses for £24.50 or 3 courses for £27.75. Selections include: devonshire crab with mango and coriander dressing …layer char-grilled vegetable terrine set in tomato vodka jelly with a tomato and green peppercorn chutney … fillet of sea bass, pink fur potatoes and red wine syrup .. breast and confit of guinea fowl, fondant potatoes and creamed leeks … chocolate and hazelnut mousse, butterscotch sauce … pear tarte tatin with hokey pokey ice cream … as well as an a la carte menu. Head Chef Roger Evans creates exquisite menus using only fresh seasonal produce and a selection of fine wines by the glass or the carafe can be chosen to perfectly compliment each dish.
