“IN THE PIANO LOUNGE and DOVER BAR"
at this stunning Private Members Club which is well know
for its fine paintings, impressive collection of books
and comfortable furnishings..
Come and join us for complimentary wine (for
members and guests who arrive between 7-8pm).
Rumination, celebration and conversation are the hallmarks
of the best kind of bar and The Dover Bar is a well stocked
oasis on the first floor, where comfort and liquid joys
are cheerfully dispensed.
Should you wish to have a snack or supper The
Bistro Menu is available in the Dover Bar and Piano Lounge
and includes such delicious favourites as: …. the
oriental platter (£8) … eggs benedict (£5)
… crayfish, watercress and avocado salad (£12)

sole with mushy peas (£12) .. mushroom risotto (£10)

View of Paintings by Jane Bristowe which marries
a spontaneous use of line and a passion for colour !!
The Arts Club was founded in 1863 for those connected
with the Arts, Literature or Science. Members over the
years have included writers such as: Dickens, Swinburne,
Mark Twain, Anthony Trollope and the creator of Count
Dracula, musicians such as Joachim, Jules Benedict, Tosti
and Charles Halle and actors such as Sir Henry Irving.

- just pop your business card in the hat on the night.

will be on view and available for collection on the night.

very reasonable … the lighting is low, the atmosphere
