Henrie Haldane’s evocative oils have immense
energy and depth. Her landscapes are abstract
& fluid and suggest huge open expanses of
sky with a focal horizon point. A culmination
of expansive brushwork using glazes of colour,
scumble, wax and other mediums create a sense
of depth and atmosphere.
Travelling through Southern India, Nepal and
Morocco she draws inspiration from the fascinating
cultures, varying seasons & vibrant colours.
Her love of the sea and beaches, landscapes &
sunsets, remain a key painting subject matter,
passionately focusing on colour, light and horizons.

Whistler’s London and Venetian scenes, to
Stormy Beaches & Dramatic Landscapes to stunning
Moroccan paintings where the depth, texture and
authenticity is created by the layers of decoupage,
script, gold leaf and paint.
