Andrew has been a lover of art, in all it's forms,
all his life !
First he designed and built gardens for 15 years,
a wonderful art form in itself,
but he wanted an even greater, more expressive
way of producing creatively and so he studied
in Yorkshire for his Diploma and Degree in Fine
Art ( 2001- 2006).
He loves art because......
“When I see something of beauty, it touches
me in a way that words cannot describe, be it
a picture, plant or pot. It is a feeling that
touches the soul and gives constant pleasure,
that is why I love art.
As well as being inspired by beauty and grace
I find lunacy, madness and craziness attractive,
all the things that exist outside of 'normal'
conscious thought. With alternative perception
I gain a greater appreciation of everyday occurrences
around me.
Egon Shiele is my hero, he is just phenomenal
! I also love to look at works by Eva Hess, Barnett
Newman, Mark Rothko and Miro".
